Capabilities in Social Studies | Our capability curriculum is still in the embedding phase and so it wouldn’t serve us to take up new initiatives at this point. The staff were trained in inquiry learning last year and this is still a development phase |
Special Character Christian Witness | Reach out to more parents. Send surveys out in other languages. Helping people in the community. Social Justice |
Wellbeing Survey Self Review | Circle time. Monitor what is happening |
Science | Continue to monitor. Make sure we have resources. Use whatever pd we have available |
End of Year Achievement Reading, Writing, Maths | We know that writing is a concern, we also know from our engagement target that writing improves with engagement. Writing will be included specifically as a target in 2022. |

RE | Continue to monitor while we are transitioning into the new RE curriculum |
The Arts | Continue to be aware of developing practical knowledge and ideas and opportunities for specific teaching. Keep it going specifically in junior school so older children remain comfortable with it. |
Maths | We are on track according to our curriculum and our curriculum is based on good research/background. Ensure we stay on track. |
Social Sciences | Continuing to actively develop as part of our local curriculum. No review made this time due to school closure (Covid) |
Science | Resume the process of the normal triangulation. Looking into incorporating Enviroschools much more into the curriculum next year. Continue to integrate with RE -
Look at individual students. |
EOY Reading, writing, maths achievement and targets | Want to focus more on engagement next year both of students and families. Through providing authentic curriculum opportunities and integrated learning combined with specific teaching in literacy and numeracy using progressions and exemplars to guide and model, we will be hoping achievement rises.
